I just got this the other day, too, Doc. I will say it's the harshest flower I have vaped in 10 years even out of Vaporcup, and I'm not one that cares about taste or flavor. The effect was really enjoyable, like you said: bright, slightly euphoric but could have been a little stronger. It's definitely worth checking out.

Been vaping this stuff called fuel biscuits, it's a indica hybrid but has tons of euphoria and it chills you out without knocking you out. I live in Vermont so unless you're willing to travel all the way across America i would just look around in your area for it. But if you ever do find yourself in Vermont look for these strains, Loma PrIeta by Emerald Visions, Schism by Smoke Ranch Redemption, Stardawg by First Chair Farms, Bubba Cookies by Pinnacle Vally Farms, and my personal favorite GMO by Somewhere on The Mountain. I'm an indica guy but I know a euphoric flower when i smoke one.

This is such a classic strain.

Idk about grassy/earthy, when I think of Maui wowie I think tropical fruit. Probably my first strain I can remember that tasted fruity. It was never a heavy hitter but was delicious, euphoric, and was a good daytime cruiser. Last time I had a real Maui wowie was on the Oregon coast a few years ago and it was just as I described.

I am suspect of the THC percentage as well, only landrace I know that has high THC is Durban Poison. Even back in the day when most were in the low teens it was always 20%+. Most so called "landraces" today are actually hybrids. But with selective breeding, nutrients, LED lights, and lab shopping for the highest numbers, almost anything can hit 30%+.

They have a Durban Poison that also is claimed to have really high THC and that's a landrace too. Maybe they have a selective breeding method to favor THC? I also wonder about these new LED growl lights, if they are somewhat responsible for the across the board increase we've been seeing?

Maui has a earthy taste i.e grass and doesnt smell very tantalizing but the main focus is the effects . Its a fewl good enoy your day type of high ..Sativa dominant without the heart race aniexty
